Lansing Lugnuts Opening Weekend Even Bigger

Snow has forced the postponement of the Lugnuts game on Friday on the road so because of that Cooley Law School Stadium will get more baseball this weekend. 

So because of the snow postponement on Friday night the Lugnuts have released a statement that will give Lansing extra baseball this weekend.

"Since the two teams will not return to Midland in the first half of the season, the game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Sunday, April 8th, at Lansing’s Cooley Law School Stadium beginning at 1:05 p.m. Two seven-inning games will be played, separated by an approximate 30-minute break. In addition, the Lugnuts have changed the scheduled start time for Saturday’s home opener against the Great Lakes Loons to 5:35 p.m. The day will still begin with an Opening Day Block Party at 3 p.m. featuring Meet the Team followed by an autograph session with the 2018 Lansing Lugnuts. The first 1,000 fans through the gates will receive a commemorative scarf presented by Auto-Owners Insurance. LAFCU Fireworks will follow the game."
