Friday is Plaidurday the celebration of everything plaid. Whether that means you wear a plaid shirt, jacket, hat, or coat, this celebration is looking for you.

This flannel rage day was all started by U.P. native Justin "Bugsy" Sailor, who was living in Lansing at the time. Sailor has moved back to the U.P. and lives in Marquette.

The tradition, as Sailor says, is to get a big group of people obviously wearing plaid to take a group picture. The group photos have been with 50 to 60 people and you can check out some of their past pictures here.

They’ve gone to different locations each year, and this year it will be across from the opening of the Lansing Board of Water & Light Chili Cook-off at 5:30pm. I'll be broadcasting live at the Chili Cookoff and may have to check them out down there.
