Labor Day Weekend is here and its kinda the end of summer as school is starting and it will start to get colder again. But there are still two festivals happening this weekend in the Lansing-area to help you celebrate the last weekend of the summer.

First, at Adado Riverfront Park for the Michigan Chicken Wing Festival.  It runs all weekend long from noon until 9 p.m.  There will obviously be a wing eating contest, kids zone, entertainment and more.  The cost is only $5.   The Lansing State Journal has more.

Then on Labor Day Monday, its the Eaton County Labor Day Bridge Walk from 9 a.m. to noon.  Start at Oak Park and walk across the downtown Grand River bridge to Fitzgerald Park along the Ledges Trail or Jefferson Street.
