Tuesday May 3rd's special election meant voters in several mid-Michigan communities hitting the polls to approve or deny school bond proposals.

In Lansing, voters overwhelming said "yes."  61% of those that showed up at the polls showed their approval of the measure.

School bond proposals and other school funding proposals for Dansville, Eaton Rapids, Waldron, Jackson Northwest and Albion passed with ease.

Mason voters, however, approved a sinking fund but said "no" to the school bond issue.

In Michigan Center, voters are split on the school issue.
