For his 'SNL' hosting stint (March 1), 'The Big Bang Theory' star Jim Parsons used his opening monologue to implore the audience to accept he is "not that guy" you see on the TV 18 times a week in syndication. He is not Sheldon Cooper.

Before you roll your eyes and think, "Sure he isn't...," know that Parsons worked his butt off to change that perception and to show it's not reality.

To further prove his point, he recruited some help and turned his monologue into a musical number where he reminds us that he is not a scientist, doesn't speak Klingon and isn't a genius!

Other actors who became synonymous with their roles in the '80s and '90s, like George Costanza of 'Seinfeld,' Urkel from 'Family Matters' and Bill Cosby' of 'The Cosby Show,' to name a few, joined him on stage, since they suffered the same fate.

It was a super fun musical opening and was the first time in a while that the opening monologue wasn't crashed!

The show had been on hiatus due to the Olympics. Next week's host is Lena Dunham.
