Izzo Underwent A ‘Successful’ Surgery on Wednesday Morning, Will Be Back to Work Soon

The Athletic office at Michigan State University released a statement on Wednesday morning revealing that Tom Izzo, Michigan State's men's basketball coach, underwent a hernia surgery early Wednesday morning.  The surgery, which was performed by Dr. Troy Ferguson at McLaren Great Lansing, was called 'successful.'

Izzo is expected back in the basketball office later this week.
