I-96, Other Roads Closed Due to Accidents

UPDATE 10:28am: Report of a multiple vehicle collision on WB I-96 at Fowlerville (Exit 129).

The snow is coming down fast and the roads are getting slick just as quick.

I-96 at Okemos Road, both the eastbound and westbound lanes, is closed due to accidents.  Additionally, multiple accidents have closed the ramp from northbound US-127 to eastbound I-96.

We're hearing from numerous drivers urging fellow drivers to use extreme caution.  Don't be on the roads if you don't need to be.

The possibility of snowfall exists over the next several days.  Be prepared for an emergency to arise.  Make sure you have blankets, snacks, water and first-aid basics in case you need them.
