Are you looking for a job? If so, many Lansing-Area companies and businesses are looking and have lots of openings.

According to the Lansing State Journal, by the end of September 2017, over 50 businesses in Greater Lansing are expected to fill 1,300 job openings. The only thing, the report says that most workers for these jobs will need to be trained first. Some of the businesses will have training and maybe hiring sometime next year include; Liquid Web, Granger Construction, Capital Steel & Wire and AgroLiquid

Most of the jobs that are looking to hire that need training are in the manufacturing, construction and information technology. Luckily, Capital Area Michigan Works landed a grant to reimburse those employers for those costs, the report includes that the grant is enough to the pay for training of 3,000 new and current employees.
