If you are wondering what you can do this weekend, and do it for free, then go to the museum. That's right this Saturday, September 22nd, is the 14th-annual National Museum Day. What this means is that about 1,400 museums across the country will offer free admission for Museum Day.

Along with the thousands all over the country that are involved, there are about a dozen in the Lansing-Area that apart of this day too.  As this Saturday, you'll be able to visit places like; Frankenmuth Historical Museum (pictured above), the R.E. Olds Transportation Museum in Lansing, the Lansing Art Gallery and Education Center, the Ella Sharp Museum in Jackson and Cell Block 7 in Jackson for free. So if you are looking for something fun to do with your kids or friends this is perfect and walking around a museum can take a while too.

You can see all of the museums in the Lansing-Area and all over Michigan that are going to be apart of it, here.
