How People In Michigan Are Helping Those Affected by Hurricane Harvey

The residents of Houston and most of West Test have been affected by Hurricane Harvey and yes there are plenty of ways to help but some people in Michigan are helping in other ways.

A western Michigan company, KL Outdoors, is sending about 2,000 kayaks to parts of Texas and Louisiana to help with flooding relief and rescue efforts following Harvey. Walmart will also be helping out as they will be buying them from KL and KL will cover the shipping costs. More on it here.

One of the safest places to make a donation to help with the Houston relief efforts is with the American Red Cross. Click here to make a donation. The American Red Cross is also urging people to call 1-800-RED CROSS or text HARVEY to 90999 to make a $10 donation for those in need.
