What a way to celebrate July 4th and the nice weekend, by having a huge fight on the beach.

According to MLive, Grand Haven State Park was closed for a portion of July 3rd and 4th after authorities and law enforcement said several fights broke out.

According to members of the Grand Haven Public Safety Department, they said that they saw about 300 people fighting during the incident, which occurred around 7 p.m. Monday, July 3.

Officers on scene said about 8-10 fights broke out during the time. Multiple attempts by law enforcement were made to try and calm or subdue the crowd, before order was eventually restored.

The cause of the disturbance and fights are unknown but make sure next time you go to the beach you enjoy it! Fighting on the beach doesn't seem like good especially if its 80-90 degrees.
