Hey Michigan! We Aren’t Bad Drivers After All

Even though we have seen a few accidents already this month and winter starting doesn't help, Michigan is still ranked in the top 10 for Best Drivers. This is according to a study by carinsurancecomparison.com using the Nat'l Highway Traffic Safety Admin (NHTSA) stats to make the list.

The states are ranked by number of factors like Careless driving, driving impaired, failure obey, and yes accidents. So even though you might think at times that Michigan drivers are reckless at least you don't live in these five worst states: Louisiana, Texas, South Carolina, North Dakota and Delaware.

The seven states with better drivers than Michigan, according to the study, in order: Minnesota, Vermont, Virginia, Iowa, Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Ohio. So basically stay safe out there and always be alert, never drive drunk or impaired and then Michigan can be #1 next year.
