Christina Westfall of Temperance Michigan died over the weekend of an accidental heroin overdose.  The stunningly beautiful, outgoing, friendly 24 year old mother's addiction began in her teenage years, despite having a safe and solid home life as a child.  Her obituary cautions "Addiction does not discriminate," and was written with raw emotion as a window into Christina's circumstance, in hopes of saving the lives of others.

"The pain of her death is heartbreaking and intolerable, which is why stories like Christina’s should not be ignored. The only way we will conquer the heroin epidemic is to share our stories and raise awareness," the obituary reads.

A celebration of Christina's life will take place at Pawlak Funeral Home in Temperance on Friday.  Read the obituary in full here.
