After the flood about two weeks ago forced Green Dot Stables to close for a bit they are working to get back to normal and also to help employees affected by the flood.

This Saturday (3/10) Green Dot Stables will open a pop-up restaurant from 5 to 9 p.m in Lansing's Allen Market Place at 1629 E. Kalamazoo Street. Proceeds will support employees who aren't getting paid because of the closure, said Christine Driscoll, Green Dot's co-owner.

Green Dot will sell sliders, fries and salads, each for $3.00 at the pop-up event.  For more information from Green Dot's Facebook Page, go here.
