Girl Scouts Asking for Help with Homeless Angels Fundraiser on Sunday

Girl Scout Troop 30655 will be hosting a fundraiser for the Homeless Angels at Walmart in West Lansing, Sunday August 7th, beginning at 1pm and continuing "all day if necessary," Christi Foster-Flowers said.  Flowers' sister and mom are the troop's leaders, and her daughter is one of the girls that has been looking forward to this event for a long time.

"The girls are so excited to be doing this and have impatiently waited for a year to finally do it, so please, if you ever wanted to give back and didn't know where to start, this is your opportunity."

Any and all donations are accepted.  There will be fliers to arriving guests of Walmart containing information about items that are much needed at this time, and with school just around the corner, many in need are kids looking for first-day essentials.
