Getting Fit In 2015 Part 2
It's been a month... a whole month since I began this journey of getting fit. And boy let me tell ya, I'm feeling good!
I've been taking these circuit/bootcamp style classes over at HiiT Fitness and loving every minute of it. I can feel the difference in the way my clothes fit (which is much better!), I can feel it in how much more energy I have, and feel it in the way I sleep so much better. Who would have thought that exercising could affect that many aspects of a person's life?!? Most of all though, I'm starting to see some actual, physical progress. I've lost 5 pounds, one inch off each of my arms, and two inches off of my hips. The changes, while small, feel big, and keep my feeling motivated to keep going. One month down, one month to go (I'm taking this one step at a time people, lol). And with this next step in my journey, I'd love if you came along! If you are making an effort to Get Fit in 2015, or would love to take the first step, take that step with me! I'm going to be walking/jogging/running/panting in the 9:30 a.m. heat for this year's Insane Inflatable 5K. I participated in it last year, and not only was it the first time I did the Insane Inflatable 5K, it was my first 5K EVER! And let me tell ya, I didn't do a whole lot to prepare. So this 5K is definitely for anyone of any fitness level. Let's do this together! Mark it on your calendar, August 1st.
