Yesterday it was so humid and muggy and as I got off of work from doing the show, I didn't feel like going out and sweating off my skin to run in preparation for my first ever 5k. If you're like me and have been looking for a simple way to get back in shape and stay in shape, along with eating better, running was the answer. It's been a great thing for me, and I try to do it everyday. Yesterday was one of those tough days. One where you just don't want to put in the effort at all. But then you remember why you're doing it. You set a goal for yourself and you really want to accomplish it. I've never participated in a 5k before ever, and it's always been something that I've wanted to do, but never put in the time or effort.

Well, with the help of you and my friends over at Playmakers in Okemos, you know that I will be participating in my first ever 5k this month. I just need you to come out and run with me. Join team 975 as we inch closer and closer to Haslett High School, on June 25th. That's the first race and I'm excited to tackle it head on. How about right here! Just register and you'll be running with me. My goal was to run the 5k and now that I've signed up, I really want to do it in about 30 minutes or so.
