Former Owosso Pastor, Church Secretary Face Embezzlement Charges

Michigan State Police conducted an investigation into misappropriated funds at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Owosso, WLNS-TV reports, and the investigation found that a former Pastor and a church secretary stole hundreds of thousands of dollars over a six year period.  The crime was only discovered following Reverend David Fisher's 2015 retirement.  Fisher is out on bond while Nancy DeFrenn remains behind bars.  Both are expected back in court in the coming weeks.
