Father’s Day Weekend Events In the Lansing-Area
It should be fairly nice on Sunday for Dad and there are tons to do all over the Lansing-Area to celebrate with him.
First off at the Grand Ledge Chamber of Commerce all weekend its’ Yankee Doodle Dandy Days. This is a big summer-fun festival! Live music, parade, kids day, fireworks, entertainment tent and more about it here.
Next, up this could be for Dad or him and his friends too, as the fifth-annual Lansing Beer Fest is out on the street in front of REO Town Pub (1145 South Washington Avenue). There’s going to be over 100 different beers and dozens of breweries. More about it here.
Also on Father’s Day, Brunch at Capital VINE (10am to 3pm) and then later in the day, Dinner at Capital Prime. You will have to call and make a reservation if you wait and you can see who to call here.
At the Potter Park Zoo its Dad’s Day, where all Dad’s can get in Free! The zoo is at 1301 S. Pennsylvania Ave in case you didn’t know and the hours are 9AM- 5PM on Sunday.
You can also bring Dad to the 2nd Annual Father’s Day Car Show (Mt Hope Church on 202 S. Creyts Rd) You can check out all of the vintage, classic, and modern cars with activities for the entire family. Also, enjoy BBQ lunch from King of the Grill.
