Looking for a summer job? Then McDonald's is hiring and giving its employees something to shoot for in the future too.

McDonald's announced today according to MLive, that they are looking to hire about 11,000 workers for their franchises across the state. McDonald's is looking to hire because of the busy summer season.

Along with hiring thousands, McDonald's also announced that they have plans to give its employees a chance to upgrade their education with their Archways to Opportunity program. McDonald's will be allocating about $150 million to the program which provides nearly 400,000 U.S. restaurant employees with an opportunity to earn a high school diploma, receive upfront tuition assistance for college courses, access academic advising courses and learn English as a second language.
