All of us in Mid-Michigan know that this weekend is going to be crazy with Michigan-Michigan State facing off, but before you make the trip get all of the details on tailgating, roads to avoid, parking, and more.

First off tailgating, if you haven't heard, the game is going to start in the Noon time slot, so make sure to come to Spartan Stadium early. By early I mean 7am, as according to the official website of Spartan Athletics, tailgate lots for the Michigan game will open at 7am. You will be allowed to tailgate in all public parking areas on the campus of Michigan State. But there are a few changes as public parking on Munn Field has moved to Cherry Lane Field. No vehicles will be allowed to tailgate on Munn Field. In addition, with tailgating there are a few things you can not bring and you can see that by clicking here.

Next Parking, there will be public parking of course for $20. You can also park on Lot 70 for $30. Also if you are parking on Lot 89 (Located off Mt Hope & Farm Lane) the shuttle service will be made available for $5.
And just another big heads up, Arnold Schwarzenegger will be having a rally to "Terminate Gerrymandering" with a rally to be held on Ann St Plaza at 9:30am. So you might want to avoid going to that area. You can see more on Arnold appearance in East Lansing here.
