A shooting just after midnight on Thursday night in a downtown East Lansing parking garage has left one person dead and another wounded.

WLNS.com reports that a woman called 911 after hearing 15 gunshots. East Lansing Police had the Grove Street Parking Garage closed overnight while they investigated the shooting.

East Lansing police Lt. Steve Gonzalez has said they do not believe it was a random shooting and that the general public is not at risk. As of right now, the shooters remain at large.

East Lansing police say there are two suspects:the first suspect is described as a black male, 5’9” tall; weighing between 160 and 185 pounds, last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans. The second suspect is described as a black male, 5’11’ tall; weighing approximately 200 pounds. The suspects were seen fleeing the scene in a vehicle described as a red, four-door sedan, possibly a Lincoln or Dodge.
