Did Home Depot Crew Get Robbed of Win? [VIDEO]

Nearly 250,000 people across the world have viewed the contest entry video produced by the Owosso Home Depot team of Casey Lambert, Micayla Marks and Jordan Sovis. Each year The Home Depot corporate office hosts a talent contest among its employees. Last year, the trio won the contest which included a trip to Vegas and the chance to perform live for 4,000 Home Depot managers; a performance produced by the people that create the Superbowl Halftime show.

This year’s video has amassed a far greater response than last year’s, but it’s just been revealed by WNEM-TV that since they won last year, this year’s video will not be selected to win the contest in order to give other entrants the chance at the Vegas stage.

There’s no certainty that this year’s video would have secured the win, but it was, without question, a formidable contender. What is clear, is that the official rules do not state that a winner(s) would be ineligible to win in a second year, the group says. But, it’s kind of hard to argue with your employer, right?
