If you are headed to the beach this weekend or there already be on the lookout for some windy weather and some potential hazardous waves.

The National Weather Service warns swimmers there will be multiple beach hazards present Saturday afternoon and evening, and into Sunday. Winds will be gusting out of the south at almost 40 mph which could cause big waves.

Some places that could see high waves are the more north you go on the Lakes. But Grand Haven could see waves 5-7 feet tall or potentially higher.

The NWS warns that conditions could be worse or even life-threatening this evening. They could also remain hazardous into Sunday. You can see more about the waves and see which beach could be the most hazardous here.
