Be careful and take those bird feeders back inside as there has been a Coyote spotted in East Lansing. According to WILX, The City of East Lansing let residents know that a coyote had been spotted on King Court, and area "just south of Patriarche Park".

The Michigan DNR has said to be safe a do a couple of things to keep you and your home safe. First to deter any other animals including a Coyote, is to get rid of "bird feeders and keeping trash and pet food indoors". Also If you spot a coyote, be sure to stay a safe distance away, but if the coyote is too close, "try to scare it off by yelling, clapping or making a loud noise."
