There are plans being looked at now to convert Adado Riverfront Park into a large concert venue with two big venues and a large plaza.

According to Lansing State Journal, there is a proposal that would add a permanent covered stage in Adado Riverfront Park that would be used for more concerts and stage events. The proposal is still in the early stages but the proposed concert stage would be on the area of Adado near Grand Avenue and East Shiawassee Street. The concert stage would lookout on seats and a lawn plaza which could hold 15,000 people. This concert stage would then allow Lansing to bring in even more concerts as well as other stage events.

The proposal  also includes another plaza with umbrellas as well as other places to relax near the River Trail. There would also be another stage on the other side of the plaza near East Saginaw Street and Grand Avenue, with room for up to 5,600 additional people.
