The Corunna Police Department issued a release seeking the public's help in identifying and locating a man accused of trying to lure a child out of Volunteers of America in Corunna on Saturday May 28th.
 
NBC 25 reports the man made contact with the boy as he was looking at toys.  The man asked the boy's name and said that he would buy him a toy.
 
The man then went to the front of the store and told workers that he was the child's grandfather and was there to pick him up, according to the report.
 
The boy was at the store with his grandmother.
 
"The Corunna Police Department and the Shiawassee County Sheriff Department are investigating a suspicious situation that occurred at the Volunteers of America store in Corunna on 5/28/2016. We would like to talk to this individual if anyone can identify him."
 
The release says the man was driving a dark colored Chevrolet full size pickup truck.
