Just a heads up for customers of Consumers Energy in Ionia, Eaton, and Clinton counties as there are plans to temporary cut electricity for some Friday morning.

The disruption will only last two hours and is scheduled to begin Friday at 2am. Consumers estimates about 3,000 will affected and the areas of the outage includes customers in an area bordered by Jason Road to the north, Charlotte Highway to the west, Needmore Highway to the south, and Lowell Road on the east. The reason for the temporary shut off is so that crews can work on the Looking Glass Substation near this area.  So if you live in this area be warned that this is happening so if you have something plugged in tonight you will see an interruption.
