Construction: Pennsylvania Ave – Jolly to Cavanaugh Updates

Switch lanes, switch sides. This time, it's the other side of the street. Pennsylvania Ave - Jolly to Cavanaugh. They were working on the northbound side. That's done. Now, it's the southbound side's turn. And that starts today at 8:30 am.

The City of Lansing Public Service Department announces that Pennsylvania Avenue from the intersection of Jolly Road to Cavanaugh Road will be opened to through traffic in the northbound direction and closed to through traffic in the southbound direction beginning Thursday, June 21st after 8:30am, for road construction.

The posted detour route beginning June 21 st for the project is:
Southbound Pennsylvania Avenue:
East on Cavanaugh Road, south on Aurelius Road, west on Jolly Road, to return to Pennsylvania Avenue.

The closure is expected to last approximately 3 weeks.

Access to businesses adjacent to the constriction zone will be maintained throughout the project. Northbound Pennsylvania will remain open during this phase of construction.

Drivers are advised to seek alternate routes and expect delays.
