I need to lose weight. I also need to tone my muscles. Basically, I need to get in shape. I need to GET HEALTHY.

On Sunday morning, I picked up the 19lb baby I have and threw my back out. I'm 32. This shouldn't be happening to me, should it? So I laid in bed for a day and half and was pretty much useless. It was a scary feeling. Is this going to happen more and more if I don't do something about it? Yes.

I can honestly say I've never worked out a day in my life. Never been to the gym, never joined an exercise class, I don't (can't) do push ups, or sit ups, and I couldn't run to save my life.

My boyfriend and I have been discussing our weight problem more and more. He's put on some weight since he moved here for law school and I just haven't lost my baby weight. We are going to do this together. We are going to get healthy together. We were all set to start the Couch to 5K program yesterday and then I threw my back out. We're going to start it this week. We need to.

I've never started an exercise program and actually been excited about it. It's time. I'm 32 and it's time I get healthy. For my children, my future, my relationship, my health and FOR ME. I want this.
