Classic Charlotte Comic Book Store Closing

The Reading Place a longtime staple of the Charlotte community will be closing its doors after 39 years. The Reading Place, located on 136 Cochran Ave, is a used comic book and used book store.

Both of the owners of The Reading Place have said that business was doing fine they just think its time to retire. To read more about the store owners and what they have to say about the closing, WILX has it here.

They are having a sale on all merchandise and payment of cash and checks are accepted. They are closed today (Monday) but they are open Tuesday-Saturday this week from 10A - 5P.  The bookstore will officially close sometime between May 10th and May 17th.
