City of East Lansing Talk Smoking Ban In Some Outdoor Places

The City Council East Lansing is discussing a smoking ban in some outdoor public places for good.

The ordinance that they are discussing would ban smoking in city parks, plazas and recreation facilities, with a violation being that you would face a fine.

The City of East Lansing is discussing this new rule, because of the ban on the campus of Michigan State for all smoking and tobacco related products. There will be a City Hall downtown tonight with the East Lansing City Council at 7pm if you are interested going. But if this ban is passed it will be had for a smoker to find a place to smoke besides in their car or house.
