Almost a year after four students were injured in a shooing near Lansing's Sexton High School, one person has been charged. Timothy Minor III, who is 17, was charged with assault with intent to murder, carrying a concealed weapon and a felony firearm.

Police believe Minor's crime was planned and took place 3 blocks away from Sexton's campus on September 17, 2013. According to the article on WLNS-TV's website, there is no reason given for why it took so long to formally charge someone with the shooting. Minor's bond was set at $150,000. All the victims have since recovered.
