BWL Warns Customers of Scam! BEWARE!

BWL is warning people about a phone scam targeting their customers. The folks making the calls claim to be a representative of BWL, and threaten to shut off services if the customer doesn't make a payment over the phone. BWL says that is not how they operate. They say, it is not their policy to ask customers for credit card information over the phone, or to make payments through a wire service. If you receive a call from what you perceive to be a potential scammer, please do the following:

• DO NOT give out ANY personal information over the phone!
• HANG UP IMMEDIATELY!
