Michigan State University Police found a body on the south side of campus at Wednesday morning.

The body was in a heavily-wooded area east of Baker Woodlot, according to MSU police.

Police are working to identify the person and manner of death. Still more details are coming and it should be updated shortly.

UPDATE:  The Michigan State University Police Department has identified the body discovered April 13 as student Patrick Kegan Cochrane, who was reported missing early in the morning April 9. MSUPD continues to investigate, and anyone with information or who saw Cochrane after 3:15 p.m. April 8 should contact police at (517) 355-2222.
