If you have never seen a northern lights show its probably cause you never lived in Alaska or Northern Canada. But tonight living in Michigan will allow you to see a northern light show finally!

The map above shows that Michigan (In the green shaded part) will have a good shot at seeing the lights. If there is no cloud cover, which there isnt supposed to be, and you are in a dark place you should be able too see it.

If you are asking me when you can see it, well scientists haven't established an actual time for the lights to occur as space isn't easy to predict. But the time they are looking at is tonight after 9pm and even into the overnight when it can happen.

So just go outside and keep looking at the sky every 15 minutes or so and you might see it.
