There is apparently a "controversy" over this photo.  I've been asking around for about a day now but I haven't actually located the controversy.  I've only spoken with people who say it's "beautiful" or "patriotic" and other words within that general theme.

Good Morning America cited a quote inside a photography Facebook group that called the photo "disrespectful, rude, tacky, disgusting, and against the U.S. Flag Code." I've been *exposed* (photography pun) to this group before and I thought/think that the group is disrespectful, rude and tacky. How can you lend any credence to the opinion of a photographer regarding the quality of another photographer's photo, when that photographer's sole function is to criticize the work of other photographers.

If this is the only "controversy" surrounding this photo, which, it kind of seems that it is, please, let's all grab a bit of inspiration, take a lesson on patriotism and enjoy the beautiful photo.
