Here's more about all the Common Ground opening night artists:

20-year old Canadian singer and songwriter Alessia Cara has been making waves on pop radio since her debut single “Here” reached the top 5 on U.S. radio charts and was considered one of the 50 best songs of 2015 by Rolling Stone. She was awarded Breakthrough Artist of the Year at the 2016 Juno Awards and followed it with opening for Coldplay on the European and North American legs of their A Head Full of Dreams tour. Alessia Cara manages to own the dichotomy of understated pop star. The big voice in the small frame. The small-town charm gracing big city stages. Perfection in imperfection. The irrepressible smile and the timeless message that we all have something to offer. Alessia’s performance will be one to remember with other singles “Seventeen”, “Wild Things”, “Scars to Your Beautiful”, and most recently “Stay” a collaboration with Zedd.

Performing a late-night set on Thursday, July 6th is hip-hop artist KYLE. Most recently known for his single “iSpy” featuring Lil Yachty, KYLE has also collaborated with artists like Kehlani, G-Eazy, and Chance the Rapper.

“Say You Won’t Let Go” singer / songwriter James Arthur; pop singer / songwriter Phoebe Ryan, most recently featured on “All We Know” with The Chainsmokers; and Michigan native Olivia Millerschin have also been added to the lineup for Thursday, July 6th.
