Gwen Stefani's Designing Career Was Her "Back-Up Plan"

Gwen Stefani knows that pop stardom can't last forever -- even for someone as beautiful and talented as she.  In the new issue of InStyle magazine, Gwen reveals that that's why she launched her fashion and design lines a few years back. She tells the magazine, "I wanted so badly to have a backup plan for when I'm not performing anymore.  Let's be realistic: it's not going to be like this forever.  So I wanted to continue having something creative to do. I don't have a strong sense of self-worth unless I'm doing something."

In addition to her own designs, Gwen is a well-known clotheshorse who can also be seen wearing the latest Westwood and Galliano creations. So what will happen to her wardrobe years from now, when she's no longer wearing those outfits?  She tells InStyle that if she doesn't end up having a daughter, they'll go to "some girlfriend of [my son] Kingston's."
