Hockey Fans Warn Carrie Underwood to Keep Mike Fisher in Canada Following Marriage
Carrie Underwood has adjusted well to life in Ottawa, Ontario since starting a romance with her fiancé, Ottawa Senators hockey player Mike Fisher. The only obstacles the Oklahoma native has faced so far are driving in the snow and dealing with Mike's very intense fans.
In an interview with the Toronto Sun, Carrie tells the story of a woman who came up to her at the grocery store up there and chewed her out for possibly taking Mike away from Ottawa. Carrie says, "She wasn't kidding. She let me know she loved him and he was going to stay here, period, no matter what I said. She might have been kidding, but she wasn't being funny."
Mike may get some similar treatment in grocery stores around the U.S. about possibly taking his future bride to Canada year-round. For now, Carrie is touring the U.S. on her Play On tour.
