Last year, Jordin Sparks spent a chunk of time opening for The Jonas Brothers and Britney Spears.  But now, she's finally doing her own headlining tour.  The Battlefield tour will kick off April 24th in Atlantic City, New Jersey; right now, Jordin's scheduled to be on the road through June 26th.  Tickets go on sale this Wednesday for members of Jordin's fan club, Sparkstown.  Get the details at Sparkstown.com.

Jordin will mostly be performing in theaters and larger clubs, and many of her dates will be at various Houses of Blues nationwide.  She tells us, "It's more of an intimate setting and I can do my own show and redesign everything...change up the songs a little more, add more songs from my new record, and do a couple of covers that everybody knows that we can dance to."  Jordin says she's really excited about performing for her fans again -- she tells us, "I have the itch to get back out on tour because I haven't really been a part of a tour since the Britney tour ended...so I'm like, 'OK, it's time to go back out, let's go!'"
