Lady Gaga & Beyonce Tie Mariah's Chart Record
Thanks to their hit duet "Telephone," Lady Gaga and Beyonce have now tied a chart record originally set by Mariah Carey: most number ones on Billboard's Pop Songs Chart since it launched in 1992.
Mariah scored six number ones on the chart from 1993 and 2005. Now, "Telephone" becomes Gaga and Beyonce's sixth number-one hit. Gaga has scored with "Just Dance," "Pokerface," "LoveGame," "Paparazzi" and "Bad Romance" prior to this. As for Beyonce, she's scored with "Crazy In Love," "Baby Boy," "Check On It," "Irreplaceable" and "Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)."
