No kids were hurt and police are saying they do not believe a 12 year old girl that wore a clown mask at a bus stop on Friday morning and threatened other students with large knives actually intended to stab anyone, but they're trying to figure out how to handle the situation, East Lansing Info and WLNS-TV are both reporting.

The 12 year old girl is a student at MacDonald Middle School in East Lansing.

When authorities were called to the school on Friday morning and searched the girl's backpack, they discovered two large kitchen knives, both stories say.

Meridian Township Police, the Ingham County Prosecutor’s Office, East Lansing school district, the girl’s parents and probate court are exploring possible charges.
